Thomas McMahon Superintendent Was Invited To Participate In The 2005 Oxford Round Table

Thomas McMahon Superintendent has years of experience in serving several educational institutions in the State of New Jersey. He is presently the Business Administrator at Barnegat Township School District. Thomas has always been a brilliant student and has received numerous college scholarships including the Freed Foundation and George Link Business Scholarship. A salutatorian at high school, he was also inducted into five national Honor Societies including Leadership, Political Science and Business. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/ Political Science from the Monmouth University, with a 3.91 grade point average out of 4. Furthermore, he also received the summa cum laude honors that denote the highest academic distinction. Thomas was full-time employed while studying for his Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

Thomas McMahon Superintendent ventured into business after graduating. He voluntarily provided coaching to youth basketball teams and later entered a teacher certification while working full time in the evening. He was conferred certifications in Nursery School, Elementary School, Business and Social studies. Thomas McMahon Superintendent was a member of the Student Government Association and because of his excellent academic record he was granted permission to have a double major in Business and Political Science by the Liberal Arts Dean. He received his Masters of Arts degree in Educational Administration & Supervision, with a 4.0 cumulative average, from the Jersey City State College. Apart from this, he also obtained an Educational Doctorate from Rutgers University, with a 4.0 cumulative average.

Thomas McMahon Superintendent was awarded as a Garden State fellow, which is awarded annually to the top 30 graduate students in New Jersey. He was invited to participate in the 2005 Oxford Round Table. He has held numerous administrative positions and has made a significant contribution in the development of education in New Jersey. From December 1998 to April 2000, Thomas served as an Assistant Superintendent/ School Business Administrator at the Toms River Regional School District. In addition to being a successful professional, he is also a dedicated humanitarian. With a strong belief in working for the welfare of the society, he has contributed in a large number of charitable causes. As the honorary chairman of Watchful Shepherd Program, Thomas is committed to preventing all forms of child abuse. Apart from this, he was also on the Board of Directors for the Association of Retarded Citizens, Ocean County.
